The Charlotte County Department of Social Services provides a variety of services to Charlotte County residents including protective services for children, assistance for the aged and disabled, and employment services. The Social Services Department also administers a number of assistance programs in accordance with state & federal laws including Food Stamps, Medicaid, and Energy Assistance.
