Serves economically disadvantaged children, ages 3 to 5, by providing comprehensive services in the area of education, health/nutrition, mental health and social services. The program works with parents in partnership with the belief that parents are the most important influence on their children. Culpeper Human Services Head Start is committed to supporting parents in child rearing, education and creating opportunities for self-sufficiency.

Provides assistance to Culpeper County residents in accordance with Federal Programs such as Food Stamps/SNAP, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), Child Day Care Subsidies, Cooling Assistance, Fuel Assistance, Crisis Fuel Assistance, Auxiliary Grants, Medicaid, FAMIS, General Relief, Refugee Assistance, Holiday Assistance, Job Services,Companion Care, Adoption, Foster Care, Family Support Services, Adult Services, Adult Protective Services and Child Protective Services.
