Application process

Walk ins welcome. assist people going through difficult times due to homelessness, domestic violence, or other trying circumstances by providing gifts-in-kind. Individuals or families in need may apply for help through the social services office at The Salvation Army’s main office +1 (434)295-4058 to obtain vouchers for furniture and clothing at no charge.

Provides used clothing, furniture, small appliances, fans/air conditioners, bedding/linen and household goods and furnishings at minimal or no cost to those with a demonstrated need. Must have a needs assessment and referral from the Emergency Services Program for no cost. Take donations at the store, but will provide pickup of donations of furniture or large appliances.
