Case management functions as the door through which consumers must pass to access needed services. Provides assessment, linking and referral, and monitoring to people with intellectual disabilities within the three county areas. Serves both children and adults.

Baby Care: Special assistance to access community services for Medicaid eligible infants aged two years and under that are at risk for poor health. Promotes healthy outcomes for at risk pregnant women and infants through home visiting and education which is provided by registered nurses.

Region Ten provides a variety of mental health services to meet the needs of our community. Services are provided for all age groups and are provided on an individual, group, or family basis. Services are also available at numerous locations across our catchment area to those experiencing mental health challenges and who may also have issues with substance use. Mental Health Services are strength-based, recovery-oriented services designed to evaluate and treat the mental health challenges that individuals may experience during their lifetime.

Areas Served: Cities of Staunton & Waynesboro. This program provides early intervention services for infants, toddlers, and their families birth to age three who have a diagnosed disability or suspected developmental delays.

Part C Early Intervention provides a full range of services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities and their families. Services aim to provide formal and informal support to meet the outcomes identified by families for their children. Provide outreach, coordinate services, and make referrals in the community as needed.

Areas Served: Harrisonburg City, Rockingham County. Provides services for eligible children and their families, with developmental delays and disabilities. Services include, but are not limited to, speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, developmental services, audiology, and vision.

Area Served: City of Virginia Beach. Serves children from birth through age three who have developmental delays, atypical behavior, and/or a disabling condition that is likely to result in a delay. Children referred for services are reviewed by an eligibility team to determine their eligibility for services. If it is determined the child would benefit from services (i.e., is eligible) he/she will receive a full developmental assessment prior to beginning services. Services available to eligible children and families include, but are not limited to, service coordination; speech, physical, and/or occupational therapy; and educational services. Services are provided in the child's natural environment (e.g., the home, daycare, etc.) and are provided on a sliding fee scale. The program also offers center based classes and community based group activities for children.

EPIC supports infants and toddlers, ages birth up to 3, with disabilities and/or developmental delays who live in Hampton or Newport News. A family-centered program that provides information and support to families of infants and toddlers between the ages of 0-3 with developmental delays. Free developmental screenings are provided for any child living in Hampton and Newport News under the age of 3. Staff help develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), which includes the family's needs, preferences, and concerns regarding their child and their family. Each child/family is assigned to a Service Coordinator at the time of the referral/intake. The support coordinators then set up the tailored therapy sessions with the families to ensure the child reaches their full potential.

Areas Served: Cities of Hampton, Newport News. To design and implement an interagency, community based, family-centered system of early intervention services for infants and toddlers w/disabilities, ages birth to three years old, and their families. Typical services include: physical, occupational, and speech therapies, family training and counseling, and special instruction services.

Campbell County Public Schools provides for a free and appropriate public education for all children with disabilities, ages 2-21 inclusive, who reside in Campbell County and are highly mobile such as homeless or migrant, reside in Campbell County, including wards of the state, who are not home-schooled or attending a private school; and attend a home-school or private school which is located within the geographic boundaries of Campbell County. Special Education and related services are available for persons who have disabilities in the following areas: autism, deaf-blindness, developmental delay, deafness, hearing impairment, intellectual disability, multiple disabilities, orthopedic impairment, other health impairment, emotional disability, severe disability, specific learning disability, speech or language impairment, traumatic brain injury, and visual impairment. In addition, free and appropriate public education services are available under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and it's supporting regulations for any qualified child with a disability who: (1) has a physical or mental impairment which substantially limits one or more major life activities; (2) has a record of such an impairment; and (3) is regarded as having such an impairment.

Areas Served: Abingdon, Bristol & Washington County. This program provides intervention services for families, infants, and toddlers birth through age three who have diagnosed or suspected delays in development.

Areas Served: Alleghany County, Clifton Forge, Covington. The Infant and Toddler Connection of the Alleghany Highlands coordinates early intervention services for infants and toddlers, birth through age 3 with developmental delays, diagnosed conditions or atypical development. Services may include developmental screenings - eligibility determination - assessment - service coordination and other services to meet the child and family's needs.

Specialty clinics available upon referral for children needing evaluation and follow up in the following areas: orthopedics, hearing impairment, eye imbalance, neurology, cardiology, diabetes, urology, pediatric surgery, hemophilia, cystic fibrosis. A sliding scale fee is applied, based on income.

Areas Served: Counties of Bath and Rockbridge and cities of Buena Vista and Lexington. This program provides early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers, birth to age three, who have developmental delays or disabilities.

Serving the counties of: Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange & Rappahannock. Coordinates and provides early intervention services for infants and toddlers birth through 35 months who have a diagnosed disability, atypical development and/or 25% delay in development.

Provides comprehensive interdisciplinary assessments for children and adolescents who are suspected of having developmental delays and/or disabilities.

Areas Served: Counties of Floyd, Giles, Montgomery, Pulaski, Radford City. Provides early intervention services for eligible children age birth-3years with developmental delays and/or disabilities. Services may include special instruction, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and service coordination.

Areas Served: Essex, Gloucester, King & Queen, King William, Lancaster, Mathews, Middlesex, Northumberland, Richmond, Westmoreland Counties, Towns of Colonial Beach, West Point. Serves as the Central Point of Entry for early intervention services for children birth to three years old with special needs.

Area Served: Loudoun County. Early intervention services for children with developmental delays, diagnosed conditions, or atypical development. Part of the Virginia Infant & Toddler Connection (formerly Babies Can't Wait) initiative.

Area Served: Chesterfield County. Provides evaluations at no charge to families. Provides therapy services and service coordination. This program serves children from birth to 3rd birthday with a diagnosed medical condition resulting in delays in development or atypical development and/or a delay in development.

Area Served: Alexandria City. Provides a single point of entry into early intervention programs for infants and toddlers with actual or potential developmental delays. Serves children to 36 months. Provides outreach for early identification. Offers parent education and infant stimulation. Part of the Virginia Infant & Toddler Connection (formerly Babies Can't Wait) initiative.

Areas Served: Norton City, Scott, Wise, Dickenson, and Lee Counties. This program provides early intervention services for families, infants, and toddlers birth to age three who have diagnosed or suspected delays in development or diagnosed handicapping conditions.
