The Silver Sneakers program entitles people with supplemental health insurance to receive a free YMCA membership. Included in the membership is access to special Silver Sneakers classes offered four days per week. The classes are taught mostly sitting in a chair and focus on building range of motion and strength required for activities of daily living. In addition to the classes, we do senior socials and field trips throughout the year.
