The YWCA Sexual Assault Response Program (SARP) facilitates several community support groups for victims of sexual violence and their families. Offerings include groups that are available for parents of the abused child, teens who have experienced sexual abuse, and adult victims of sexual assault.

Offers two different anger management programs, one for youth and one for adults. The program aims to inhibit behavior by improving social skills and impulse control and teaching empathy and compassion. Parental involvement is necessary for the youth program.

James House offer facilitated groups for all ages and genders which allow participants to support each other during recovery from sexual violence, domestic violence or stalking. Support groups are facilitated by experienced James House staff members and highly trained volunteers.

The Homicide Support Group Program brings friends and family of murdered victims together in regional support groups. Group members are supported in safety planning to establish physical and emotional safety. Members are encouraged to share their experiences with one another, which helps them to build a sense of community and minimize the impacts of social isolation. Survivors of Sexual Assault Support Group Thursdays 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. This virtual support group is for adult survivors of sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse. Group members are encouraged to share their experiences and feelings in a supportive and confidential setting. This peer driven group allows opportunity for open discussion around the physical, mental, and emotional impacts of trauma while developing coping strategies for trauma-related symptoms. This group is free to the public and new members can join at any time.
