Offers transitional housing for adults and children fleeing domestic violence. Families who leave the emergency shelter and desire a supportive living environment have the option of applying for transitional housing apartments before stepping out on their own. The transitional program, Cornerstone, includes seven apartments in a community-style setting. At Cornerstone, staff members work with residents to identify barriers, set goals, and take steps to achieve their aspirations. Counseling, support groups, community resource assistance, legal advocacy, and transportation also are offered to residents.

Provides support, crisis intervention, safety planning, information and referral, and advocacy to families and individuals experiencing intimate partner violence. Assists individuals and families in accessing First Step's advocacy, counseling, and emergency shelter services.

When funding is available assist survivors of domestic violence experiencing homelessness in locating and accessing permanent housing. When funding is available financial assistance includes utility deposits, rental deposits, and short-term rent payments for persons that meet eligibility requirements for program.

FCDVSAAP provides survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault with on-site crisis services and long-term case management. All services are voluntary and confidential and include crisis intervention and comprehensive services regardless of age, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, disability, religion or gender identity.
